Battle of the Bands at the high,, should be interesting as we are technically the only band in the school......but then again it will be a laugh...not sure if it is still happening
March 17th
Slasher Mary, Zazu, the Jetkings, Azimov and the DoomSpoons will be playing a funk filled night of upbeat rockiness...organised by yours truly. Place: Park Hall, Harpenden. Price: £4 entry fee to cover the cost of hiring the hall and the Pa system. Time: 7.30pm

Gigs past and present
3rd March-Watford
We played a gig in aid of World Challenge fundrasing. It was a laugh and we had a good audience...the biggest we have had so far (apart from D's birthday poss.) We had complete strangers moshing to us and DoomSpoon who were playing their first gig so well done them! Apart from a few accidents with some people in the audience and bands who had not brought their own kit, it was a great success!

24th February - High School
Our lively audience of Jazz Band members were dancing on the balcony at their first ever eye opening experience of SlasherMary. We were all privaliged to see Lauren's, how do i put it, "special" dance. Jess played the drums so hard that the bass pedal fell off its hinge. That was quickly and professionally fixed i.e. by Jess’ dad and we finished our first set. We played our latest song “Free me D” in public for the first time in our second set and brought the house (or more accurately hall) down and quite literally. The school clock fell off the wall and smashed. It still reads 10 to 10. That’s one for the history books!

27th December -D's Birthday
Evern though we were slightly worse for wear...D in particular, we played well only making a mistake on one song...which we replayed later on in the night anyway! A lot of people said that they liked us and, if they had a party, would we play which is always a nice thing to hear!!! So fingers crossesd we may be playing at a party near you!!!

20th Novermber- Club 85
It was great...we could only play two songs so we choose 'Surface Tension' and 'The Gremlin Song.' We did well and were all a lot more confident...we are even smiling in our pictures! The Jetkings also rocked so well done to them!!!

13th October - Inn on the Green
