We recently had a friend add some vamp to our logo (see below) and I personally think it looks fab!

• Hey guys, sorry about the lack of updating..the only person bothered to update the site (ehem) did not have the code for the editing page..

• Becca became the 3rd member of the band to pass her driving test last week so i think we should all say a very big well done to her!!!

11th November

• Gig: Club 85 in Hitchin, Sunday 20th November at approx 7.45pm - please come and see us! Your support is much appreciated.
• We will also be entering a mini-Battle of the bands type thing at our school at some point in the future, although this is not a serious endeavour as we have it on good authority that several acts will dwell on comedy value. Basically, it's for a laugh.
• Youth Council gig...if we get our acts together and produce a decent demo we could well be playing at the next one which should be around januaryish...will keep you posted!

• Just to say we've now got a Myspace music site : www.myspace.com/slashermary take a look and add youself to the friends thing if you can...to be honest I have no idea how it works but it is a bit sad that our only friend is Tom the myspace dude....music samples will be uploaded shortly. be warned they are not very good samples...tape recordings...done in one take...you get the idea. Hopefully we will have some better ones up soon...

• It is my Birthday and I have spent a sunny sunny day at Kew Gardens.  I really recommend going there to see the glass work among all of the plants.  The exibition is on until Spring.  I will be making an photo album so check it out.

• Hey hope you've all had a wicked summer! Doesn't it pass so quickly??!? Well Slasher's back rehearsing fresh from the looooong break so a bit rusty but we've got some new ideas which we have already started putting into action! Hopefully it won't be too long before we start to...dare I say it...play gigs but I warn you, our music is currently, how do I describe...inconsistent.... 

• Well finally all of the exams are over!  We have been working on a new song, it is differet to anything else we play or write, it is quite bluesy!  But it works!

• 'The Corner' is now near completion! For those of you who don't know this is own our own personalized section of the common room available to 'study room crew' memebers only. Complete with posters, a huge (ever expanding) doodle board, music mags, 'Magic the Gathering' cards (ok we can be geeky to sometimes...don't dis until u've tried!) comfy chairs, cushions and most importantly..a sound system! 'The Corner' is now officially the coolest spot in the sixth form block...nay the entire school! Built as a refuge from the crappy crappyness of the music..and squaling (it IS a word!)...and dancing *shivers of 'the other side' there are only 3 rules: decent music only, be as artisticly creative as possible in such an environmment and...well...just chill man!
